Winter hiking to the Wettersteinhütte

As the name already says, the Wettersteinhütte is in the Wetterstein mountains. The winter hike up from the Gaistal to hut, at 1,717 metres’ elevation is challenging during a winter holiday in Seefeld. The ascent is around 4 kilometres long, during which you must walk upwards with a gain in elevation of nearly 600 metres.

Winter hike around the Weidach Lake

At the Forellenhof in Weidach on the left along the shore, it follows a short ascent to above the Bruthaus. Keep right and ascent again along the shore to the starting point.
Walking time for one circuit approx. 1 hour. Degree of difficulty: easy

Several hikes can be started directly from the Nature Wellness & Family Hotel Hubertushof. Following an afternoon walk or a winter hike, you can then enjoy the afternoon snack in the Hubertushof and warm up again properly in the sauna.
