Description
The Peace Bell of the Alpine Region in Mösern is an important symbol of peace and cooperation between the Alpine regions of Tyrol, South Tyrol, and Bavaria. It was erected in 1997 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Working Community of Alpine Regions (ARGE ALP). Since October 2023, the bell has been relocated to a new site in Mösern and rings daily at 5:00 PM.

Weighing 10,450 kg, the Peace Bell is the largest free-standing bell in the Alpine region. It was cast by the Grassmayr bell foundry in Innsbruck and is an impressive example of art and engineering.

The Brunschkopf Viewing Platform sits at 1,510 meters and offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama over the Seefeld Plateau, the Wetterstein Mountains, Hohe Munde, and the Karwendel Range. This modern wooden platform, also known as the “Sky Cinema,” is accessible year-round and can be reached via various hiking and cycling routes.

The Seekirchl, also known as the Holy Cross Church, is a baroque central building with an octagonal layout and a dome. Built between 1629 and 1666, it served as a votive church for a miraculous crucifix. Originally constructed on an island in the Kreuzsee, it now stands on the outskirts of Seefeld in the Kirchwald district.
