How it all started …
Originally from Lower Austria, hailing from Wachau, the Pfeffel family moved to mountain country in 1991, leaving Leutaschtal on the Seefelder Plateau behind them. Six years ago they set up the foundations of their luxury business with the Hotel ‘Hubertushof’. They expanded in autumn 2004 with Hotel ‘Kristall’ and in summer 2007 with the 3-star Hotel 'Alpina', becoming the great business they are today. The hotels currently provide a total of 93 rooms with around 180 beds. Subsequent generations of the Pfeffel family were shown the values of gastronomy from a young age, whereby a life alongside the hotel was something they learned early on and that there is always a family atmosphere for a guest.
